Free meal-time information sessions on « The New Trends of the Co-operative Movement »

WELLINGTON – March 14, 2018 – All Island co-operators and all who are interested in the co-op movement are invited to one of two free and bilingual meal-time information sessions titled « The New Trends of the Co-operative Movement » being held later this month in Wellington and Charlottetown.

« The workshop will provide an overview of the co-op movement, its new trends as well as its potential, » explains session presenter Marc Henrie, executive director of the Coopérative de développement régional – Acadie (CDR-Acadie).

The Wellington workshop will take on the form of a lunch-and-learn Wednesday, March 28, at 12 noon at the Wellington Rural Action Centre at 48 Mill Road. The Charlottetown session will be a breakfast meeting Thursday, March 29, at 8:30 a.m. at the Carrefour de l’Isle-Saint-Jean at 5 Acadian Drive. A light meal will be provided.

This presentation is presently touring Atlantic Canada thanks to a partnership between the CDR-Acadie and the Economic Information Observatory for Atlantic Canada. The Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI and the Wellington Rural Action Centre are hosting the two Island presentations.
