WELLINGTON – Feb. 24, 2020 – Without the unwavering support of RDÉE Prince Edward Island, in terms of human resources, financial support and moral support, the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI would be absolutely incapable of organizing its annual Entrepreneurs’ Gala.
Among other things, the RDÉE lends the services of several of its employees to coordinate the Gala (especially Raymond J. Arsenault to take care of administration, sponsorships and promotion); hires a contractor (Christian Gallant) to take care of the collection and presentation of information and photos of the finalists; offers sponsorships through its promotional funds, its Francophone Ignition Contest and its LIENS project; and offers door prizes. All of these contributions obviously make the RDÉE the main platinum level sponsor of the Gala. And as manager of the LIENS project, it also becomes the sponsor of the 2020 Immigrant Entrepreneur Award.
Here, executive director Bonnie Gallant is seen discussing this year’s event with Arsenault. The gala, already in its 19th edition, will take place Saturday, March 14, at 5 p.m. at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside; tickets are now on sale at the centre as well as at RDÉE PEI’s offices in Charlottetown and Wellington.
