WELLINGTON – October 22, 2021 – Ten residents of Le Chez-Nous Co-op’s community care facility and Le Bel âge complex in Wellington participated in a Co-op and Small Business Week contest to contribute handmade items for children in need. These talented ladies contributed a total of 39 items – mittens, slippers, toques, socks and even a handmade teddy bear – to the collection, which will be donated to the Summerside Salvation Army for its Christmas hamper campaign. Several of the contest partners then offered prizes for draws from the names of all participants.
