WELLINGTON – Feb. 3, 2022 – French-speaking entrepreneurs, employers and job seekers who wish to learn more about Skills PEI’s various summer employment and financial support programs are invited to a free online information session, delivered via Zoom, on Thursday, Feb. 24, at 12 noon.
Velma LeBlanc, Skills PEI’s bilingual program officer, will deliver the hour-long session in French. She will mainly explain the benefits, eligibility criteria and application process for the Post-Secondary Student Program, the Graduate Mentorship Program for Employers and the PEI Farm Team Program. She will also provide an overview of other agency programs.
The session will be hosted jointly by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI and the Wellington Rural Action Centre. Those interested in participating must register by Tuesday, Feb. 22, by contacting Josée Ouellette at josee@rdeeipe.org or 902-854-3439, ext. 228.
