CBDC Central PEI continues to sponsor Young Enterprising Person Award

SUMMERSIDE – Feb. 27, 2023 – In its continuing effort to encourage young people to start their own business and work towards the well-being of their communities, CBDC Central PEI continues to sponsor the Young Enterprising Person of the Year Award, presented annually by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI. This year’s edition of the award will be presented at the 2023 Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala on Saturday, March 11th, at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village. This year, there are two finalists for the award: athlete-musician-volunteer Francis-Olivier Morin (18 years old) from Montague and musician-actor-lumberjack Dawson Arsenault (19 years old) from St. Chrysostome. The CBDC Central PEI’s new executive director Claus Schmidt, left, recently met with Raymond J. Arsenault, Gala and Chamber coordinator, to discuss the event and his sponsorship.
