ABRAM-VILLAGE – Nov. 2, 2023 – Although not necessarily the largest class, Mrs. Denise Millette’s Grade 7 class at Évangéline School almost always seems to be the most motivated when it comes to collecting non-perishable food for the annual school food drive. Once again this year, the class won a $100 bill from the Provincial Credit Union, Évangéline branch, for collecting the most food items per student in the entire school. The school drive, which brought in a record $3,343.86 in groceries, was organized by various community organizations in collaboration with the school and its high school volleyball specialization course. All of this food was donated to the food bank called the West Prince Caring Cupboard, Tyne Valley branch.
