WELLINGTON – Feb. 12, 2024 – The Evangeline branch of the Provincial Credit Union continues its annual Gold-level sponsorship of the 2024 Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala, hosted by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI.  More specifically, the Credit Union will sponsor the induction of retired or near-retirement entrepreneurs into the PEI Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame; the ceremony will take place during the Gala. The Evangeline branch’s general manager Jessica Gallant recently met with Gala coordinator Raymond J. Arsenault to discuss the sponsorship. This largest francophone entrepreneurial recognition event of the year takes place Saturday, March 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village. Eight entrepreneurs will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and awards will be presented in six other categories.
