CHARLOTTETOWN – March 9, 2025 – Radio-Canada Acadie is back once again as a Gold-level sponsor of the Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala organized by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI (CCAFLIPE). Instead of providing cash, the national radio station is lending CCAFLIPE the voice of Denis Duchesne, new host of the program Votre samedi (and formerly Le Réveil Île-du-Prince-Édouard), to record audio clips of the biographies of Gala finalists and award winners, as well as of inductees into the Chamber’s Business Hall of Fame. This will be the 12th time Gala attendees will hear Duchesne’s voice as they watch clips of each finalist’s life on the big screen.

In return for this year’s fantastic sponsorship, Radio-Canada Acadie will have the honor of presenting one of the 2024 Young Millionaires Awards to participants in this entrepreneurial youth program who were very successful in their businesses last summer:

CCAFLIPE considers Radio-Canada Acadie and Duchesne (in photo) pillars of Gala tradition. The coordinator this evening of entrepreneurial recognition, Alecia Arsenault, recently visited the production studio to discuss sponsorship with Duchesne.

The Gala, which takes place on March 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village, begins with a delicious three-course meal. CCAFLIPE and RDÉE Prince Edward Island will then present a number of awards to deserving individuals and businesses.
