WELLINGTON – May 26, 2015 – Ten Island artists and artisans participated in a two-hour evening workshop May 25 to learn how to use the Etsy web platform to sell their artistic and handcrafted products at an international level. Trainer Suzanne Scott, team captain of the Etsy Artisans of PEI, explained to participants how to register on the site, how to upload information and photos about products, how to promote their products and how to complete sales, along with the best delivery methods. She also spoke about the fees associated with sales through the site. The training was delivered thanks to a partnership between the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI and the Wellington Rural Action Centre.
