WELLINGTON – March 1, 2022 – Tickets for the 2022 Entrepreneurs’ Gala – the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of P.E.I.’s (CCAFLIPE) biggest night of the year – are finally on sale! This 20th edition of the Gala, which will feature several celebratory elements, will be held Saturday, April 9th, at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village

Tickets are $40 each (tax included) and are on sale until March 31, 2022. They can be purchased at the Wellington Rural Action Centre, 48 Mill Road, in person Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Or, they can be purchased via email at josee@rdeeipe.org or by phone at 902-854-3439, ext. 228. CCAFLIPE accepts cash, cheques, credit cards and electronic transfers.

THE GALA

« The evening will begin with a beautiful anniversary reception at 5:30 p.m. in the La Trappe Restaurant section of the facility. We will serve delicious hors d’oeuvres and everyone will receive a ticket for a free craft beer sponsored by Evermoore Brewing Company of Summerside, » explains coordinator Raymond J. Arsenault.

« We will then proceed to the well-decorated hall for the Gala Banquet at 6 p.m. We will be serving a delicious three-course meal with white and red wine (sponsored by the Wellington Co-op and the Royal Bank of Canada). A vegetarian option will also be available. During the meal, we will be showing our sponsors’ logos on the big screen and then photos of the winners from our first 19 Gala events; these will certainly bring up some good memories. »

Then the presentation of the trophies in five entrepreneurial award categories will take place: 2021 Young Millionaire, 2022 Young Enterprising Person, 2022 Distinguished Employee, 2022 Social Economy Business and 2022 Business of Excellence. Then, at the end of the evening, comes the highlight of the Gala: the induction of Alcide Arsenault, Antoine Richard, Julien Bernard and Franky Arsenault into the Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame of PEI.

Everyone will receive a souvenir gift, sponsored by ProMax 2000 and the CCAFLIPE. In addition, there will be draws for several great door prizes, including one that has a value of about $500. There will also be a draw for a $100 cash prize among all those who complete an evaluation form of the evening.

A cash bar service will also be available.
