SUMMERSIDE – March 10, 2025 – Alecia Arsenault, center, coordinator of the 2025 Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala, recently met with CBDC Central PEI representatives, general manager Claus Schmidt and economic development officer Erika Naruzawa, to discuss their Gold-level sponsorship of this annual entrepreneurial recognition event. This year, the agency will co-sponsor the 2025 Distinguished Employee Award, which will be presented to either Andréa Deveau, Nathalie Malo or Tammy Strongman. Arsenault points out that the CBDC has been a long-standing sponsor, almost 20 years in fact, so the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI is very pleased to be able to depend on its continued support. The Gala will take place on Saturday, March 23, at 5:30 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village. All colleagues, friends and family members of finalists in all categories are asked to attend to help honor the finalists and winners. Tickets are on sale at the Wellington Rural Action Centre office for $50 each (tax included) until March 14, and can be reserved by e-mailing marthe@rdeeipe.org or calling 902-854-3439.
