WELLINGTON – Feb. 28, 2023 – MacDonald Insurance & Investments, the insurance agency affiliated with The Co-operators that now serves the area from Wellington to Tignish, recently confirmed that it will be returning for a second year as a sponsor of the Entrepreneurs’ Gala hosted by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI. In fact, it is returning as the official sponsor and presenter of the Social Economy Business Award, which will be presented this year to the sole nominee, The Friends of the Farmers’ Bank of Rustico Inc. Gala coordinator Raymond J. Arsenault, left, recently met with Dan MacDonald, owner of the insurance and investment agency, to give him an overview of this year’s entrepreneurial recognition event, which will be held on Saturday, March 11, at 5:30 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village. Five regular awards will be presented and five long-time businesspeople will be inducted into the Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame.
