Discussing Lauriers Awards and tourism

TNCreginalowresREGINA, SASK. – March 11, 2014 – The communications officers from all the provincial and territorial RDÉEs of Canada gathered in Regina, Saskatchewan, March 4-6, to discuss various subjects related to joint initiatives being carried out by RDÉE Canada and its partners. Among other things, they fine-tuned some of the criteria and other details of the Lauriers de la PME entrepreneurial awards for 2014 and developed the concept for a new promotional leaflet for francophone tourism in Canada. They also shared best practices in communication and participated in a training session on strategic communications and governmental relations, delivered by new RDÉE Canada employee Patrick Doyon.

In the second photo, Arsenault can be seen, second from left, as he and his communications colleagues enjoy a supper together at La Bodega Tapas Bar & Grill. Also, the first person on the right is Catheline d’Auteil, the communications coordinator for the Conseil de la coopération de la Saskatchewan, the provincial member of RDÉE Canada. She serves as hostess for the national gathering.
