SUMMERSIDE – Feb. 18, 2021 – The champion of RDÉE PEI’s Francophone Ignition Contest will receive various prizes that are quite relevant for a new business, including a free one-year membership to the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce. By being a member of this chamber, the winning business will have the opportunity to network with other businesses and benefit from many tangible and intangible benefits that are worth far more than the few hundred dollars in membership fees. Tara Maddix, right, executive director of the Summerside Chamber, recently met with contest coordinator Julie Gallant to discuss her sponsorship. During the contest finale, which will take place Wednesday, March 3, at 7 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village, four entrepreneurial projects will be presented to the three judges. The judges will then select the winning project.
