Innovation PEI still major sponsor of Francophone Ignition Contest

CHARLOTTTETOWN – Feb. 17, 2021 – As usual, the Department of Economic Growth, Tourism and Culture, through Innovation PEI’s Ignition Start-Up Fund, is providing RDÉE Prince Edward Island with the sum of $25,000 to invest into the business project of the champion of its 2021 Francophone Ignition Contest. Contest coordinator Julie Gallant recently met with Matthew MacKay, Minister of Economic Growth, Tourism and Culture, to thank him once again for this wonderful sponsorship. During the competition, which will take place Wednesday, March 3, at 7 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village, four entrepreneurial projects will be presented to the three judges. They will then have the daunting task of choosing the winning project.
