Province to provide another $25,000 investment for Francophone Ignition Contest

ABRAM-VILLAGE – Feb. 22, 2024 – Innovation PEI will once again provide $25,000 from its Ignition Startup Fund to RDÉE Prince Edward Island so that it can invest this amount in the entrepreneurial project that wins its Francophone Ignition Contest on Saturday, March 2, at 7 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village. Three companies will present their project proposals to the public and a panel of judges from the business community during the evening. The project with the greatest potential for success will receive the cash prize as well as various other prizes, including free chamber of commerce memberships, free promotion and college courses. Alecia Arsenault, coordinator of this year’s Francophone Ignition Contest, is seen discussing the competition with Mathieu Foran, Innovation PEI’s bilingual cultural development officer.
