OTTAWA – March 11, 2025 – RDÉE Canada, the national economic development and employability network, recently confirmed that it is returning as a partner of the 2025 edition of the Entrepreneurs’ Gala, hosted by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI. RDÉE Canada’s president and CEO, Yan Plante, explained that it is through this Gala that RDÉE Prince Edward Island identifies potential candidates for the national Lauriers de la PME awards that the national network presents regularly. Dr. Christian Lacroix, the provincial RDÉE Canada board member, will be on hand at the March 22th evening of entrepreneurial recognition to represent the national network. He will be invited to help present the induction award for the PEI Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame to the family of the late Louise Comeau, who was among the founders of RDÉE Canada and RDÉE PEI. The Gala, which starts at 5:30 p.m., will be held at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village.
