RDÉE PEI still the biggest Platinum-level sponsor of the Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala

WELLINGTON – March 13, 2025 – RDÉE Prince Edward Island has been the main Platinum-level sponsor of the Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala, organized by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, since the very first edition of this evening of entrepreneurial recognition in 2001 (when it was known simply as the Entrepreneurs’ Banquet). That’s the case again this year as the 23nd edition of the Gala is being planned for Saturday, March 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village. The RDÉE pays the salaries of the employees who coordinate the entrepreneurial awards competition and the Gala that follows. This represents literally months of salaries. It also pays some of the administrative costs, including a portion of the advertising, the printing of the Gala souvenir booklet, accounting, ticket management, a major door prize and more. « Without the RDÉE’s in-kind and financial sponsorship, the organization of the Entrepreneurs’ Gala would simply not be possible, » says Gala coordinator Alecia Arsenault, right. She is seen in discussion with Stéphane Blanchard, RDÉE PEI’s executive director. Tickets are on sale until March 14, in person at the Wellington Rural Action Centre, by phone at 902-854-3439 or by e-mail at marthe@rdeeipe.org. The $50 ticket price (tax included) covers a delicious three-course banquet, participation in the evening (awards in six categories, plus induction of four people into the Business Hall of Fame), a souvenir gift and the chance to win several great door prizes.
