WELLINGTON – Feb. 28, 2023 – The Baie Acadienne Development Corporation (SDBA) has confirmed that it will once again be a Gold-level sponsor of the Entrepreneurs’ Gala, staged by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI. This year, in exchange for its sponsorship, the SDBA will have the privilege of presenting certificates to the three finalists in one of the most prestigious awards categories of the evening, the 2024 Business of Excellence Award: Chow Time Pet Foods (Zack Montreuil) from Brackley, Dion Gallant’s Welding (Dion Gallant) of Abram-Village and HMS Office Solutions (Pierre Gallant) of Summerside and Charlottetown. SDBA president Desmond Arsenault, left, recently met with Gala coordinator Raymond J. Arsenault to discuss the event and of course to reserve his tickets! And speaking of tickets… they will be on sale until Friday, March 8, in person at the Wellington Rural Action Centre or by phone at 902-854-3439. The Gala will be held Saturday, March 16, at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village. The SDBA owns two commercial buildings in the Village of Wellington, including the Community Business Centre, which houses the CCAFLIPE head office, the Wellington Rural Action Centre and their parent organization, RDÉE Prince Edward Island.
