SUMMERSIDE – Dec. 11, 2014 – Even though there was torrential rain and not a snowman in sight, the members of the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI created their own holiday celebration atmosphere during a Christmas social at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside.

Twenty-seven people showed up to network, to eat fricot and chili and to exchange best wishes for the holidays. Participants had ample opportunity to laugh and even sing a bit during a good game of Christmas trivia. Everyone received gifts and won prizes.

Seen from left during the evening festivities are Chamber spokesperson Jeannette Arsenault, Evangeline-Miscouche MLA Sonny Gallant and RDÉE PEI president Martin Marcoux. The evening was organized jointly by the Chamber, the RDÉE and the Wellington Rural Action Centre.
