WELLINGTON – Aug. 23, 2022 – One very lucky person will win a basketful of goodies with a combined value of approximately $450 this Friday, Aug. 26, through a draw organized by the Hard Workers Youth Service Co-op. For a chance to win these great prizes, you have to buy tickets at a cost of $5 each or five for $20.

Prizes in the basket include: bags of Squeak-ies cheese, a gas gift card, a grocery gift card, a T-shirt, a sports bag, natural skin care products and gift cards for other similar products, two dinner-theatre show tickets and three pairs of earrings.

The prizes were donated by Arsenault Family Lumber, Village musical acadien, The Branch Managers, Jaxon Naturals, Wellington Co-op, Ligne à hardes, Rita & Katherine, Provincial Credit Union and Fromagerie PEI.

The youth will be selling tickets at the Wellington Co-op this Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will also be selling tickets individually in their neighborhoods.

The young workers will use the funds for a small end-of-season road trip to Sandspit in Cavendish.
