WELLINGTON – April 3, 2020 – The majority of Canadian businesses these days are experiencing a variety of unforeseen challenges and don’t necessarily know how to address them. Leaders of Island francophone businesses and organizations are therefore invited to participate in two free webinars on the theme « Leading in Times of Crisis » on Thursdays, April 9 and 16.

The Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI and the Wellington Rural Action Centre, in collaboration with RDÉE New Brunswick, are offering these webinars free of charge. Marc-André Alary, owner and president of DirecSys of Dieppe, NB, will lead the sessions, each day from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

These are two different workshops, each addressing different topics. Managers may participate in only one or both of the sessions. The webinars will be delivered via the Zoom online platform.

 

Topics for Thursday, April 9
1. The state of mind required of the leader in times of crisis.
2. Communication is key for your staff and all stakeholders.
3. Secure your supply chain.
4. Cash flow forecasting, 30-60-90 days and 6 months (no matter how fluid).

Topics for Thursday, 16 April
5. Strategic execution is not about taking a back seat, take this time to do it right.
6. Sales and marketing – find a creative way to stay in front of your customers.
7. Execution priorities.
