Vendors, artists and artisans invited to participate in “Under the Tent” sales in Abram-Village

ABRAM-VILLAGE – June 13, 2019 – Vendors, artists and artisans interested in offering visitors another local shopping option this summer will have a great opportunity to sell their products, thanks to the « Under the Tent » Sales project, from August 8 to 11, 2019, in Abram-Village.

The Municipality of Abram-Village, in collaboration with RDÉE Prince Edward Island, offers these people the opportunity to rent reasonably priced spaces in tents measuring 10 feet by 10 feet that will be set up in front of a dozen homes in the village, every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (total 24 hours). More specifically, these tents will be set up in front of houses between Evangeline School and the Evangeline Recreation Center, all on the south side of the main street.

Each tent can accommodate a salesperson with a fairly large quantity of products. Vendors with a more limited number of products may decide to ban together and share the cost of renting a tent.

Spaces will be reserved on a « first come, first served » basis. For information on rental rates and to reserve your space, contact Gilles Arsenault, coordinator of the “Under the Tent” Sales project, at 902-854-3439, ext. 223, or gilles@rdeeipe.org.
