ALBERTON – March 21, 2022 – Westech Agriculture Ltd. from Alberton recently signed up as a second-level sponsor for the Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala for a first time ever. The Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI (CCAFLIPE), which is organizing the event, is overjoyed to welcome Nora Dorgan’s popular strawberry business to the fold. Chamber and event coordinator Raymond J. Arsenault recently met Westech representative Nicole MacEachern to chat about the promotional opportunities offered to sponsors and to thank the business for helping cover the Gala’s ever-growing expenses. Over the years, Westech has hosted a few interns of the PERCÉ program, which is coordinated by the Chamber’s parent organization, RDÉE Prince Edward Island. “Westech Agriculture Ltd. is Prince Edward Island’s premier strawberry nursery. We specialize in the production of certified organic and commercial strawberry plants, which we supply to berry growers throughout North America,” explains Dorgan. “In addition to being laboratory tested, our strawberry plants are grown with care and attention to ensure we produce the highest quality products to our valued customers.” Nine entrepreneurial awards will be presented during the Gala, slated for Saturday, April 9^th, at the Acadian Musical Village in Abram-Village.
